At The Light KC, we believe in equipping the next generation to shine their light in the world. Our Youth Ministry is an energetic and welcoming community where teens (grades 6-12) can find a safe space to connect, grow, and discover their unique purpose in Christ. 

Opportunities

Weekly Gatherings

Wednesdays 6:00-700pm
These sessions are designed to help teens build authentic relationships with God and others through engaging messages, thought-provoking  group discussions, and fun, interactive games.

Special Events

From concerts to summer camps, we offer exciting opportunities for spiritual growth and adventure.

Fun & Fellowship

We plan monthly hangouts, game nights, and outings to create space for teens to have fun and make lasting memories.


Serve Opportunities

We encourage our youth to live out their faith by serving others, whether it’s through local outreach events or volunteering in our church community.

Our Mission

We believe that every teen has a calling and that God has a specific plan for their lives. Our Student Ministry encourages teens to deepen their relationship with God while exploring what it means to live out their faith. We are passionate about helping them grow into Christ-centered leaders who are confident in their identity, bold in their faith, and equipped to make a difference in their schools, families, and communities.

Student Medical and Liability Release
